Ok, so we had to list it. Google AdWords is probably still the most widely used paid traffic source out there and if you know what you are doing, you can make a lot of money targeting the right product with the right keywords.
#2 – Twitter
There is no doubt that Twitter users are extremely engaged people and if they are clicking a link in their Twitter feed, they are probably going to have the intention of staying and seeing what it’s all about. Build up a good following on Twitter and you have a great traffic source for free.
#3 – YouTube
YouTube is actually the second largest search engine in the world, only second to Google. This means that if you know how to make a viral video in your niche, you are going to get a steady stream of traffic to your site that is almost guaranteed to convert at a high rate!
#4 – BuySellAds.com
So many websites use BuySellAds.com to sell advertising space these days which means that you can grab a great spot on targeted websites for quite a good price usually. It is a great paid traffic source to explore and there are even pay per click options too.
#5 – Facebook
Personally, I think that this is probably one of the best traffic sources out there if you can get a good following on the site. Facebook has a lot of engaged visitors so it is great if you can build a good following like twitter.

As well as things like business pages on Facebook, there is also a PPC ad system much likeGoogle Adwords. The main difference is that click throughs are usually a lot cheaper than AdWords and if you target the right people, you’re going to make a good amount of money.

StumbleUpon definitely deserves to be up there with the best. StumbleUpon can drive both free and paid traffic and usually, the visitors are extremely high quality and can convert well too.
#8 – Microsoft AdCenter
Microsofts alternative to Google Adwords remains a great way to get paid traffic to your website. There are less people using this than AdWords so you can sometimes get a bargain with the right keywords.
#9 – Email Marketing
Email lists can get extremely high conversion rates as good lists will have subscribers that actually want to see what you have to offer. If you can build a good list, this is definitely the way to go.
#10 – Organic Traffic
Again, probably the best kind of traffic if you can get it and maintain it, organic traffic from search engines is going to be free and high converting. Although I guess it isn’t free if you have to hire an SEO.
